There is never a better time to freeze time than when you have a brand new baby. They grow in the blink of an eye; changing from one day to the next.
Newborn sessions take place during the week in my St. Paul, Minnesota studio. Prior to your session, we'll chat about your preferences and gear the session and the images in that direction. All sessions include access to my extension collection of bonnets, wraps, clothing items, and props—sourced locally, nationally, and internationally. Absolutely everything needed for newborn sessions is provided by me, right down to the extra diapers and wipes. Immediate family is welcome to join in on images, or your session can focus on baby.
From the moment you walk in until the moment you leave, I'll handle everything and provide everything as well--the only thing you'll need to bring is your baby and their food source.
I recommend capturing newborns before they hit the three week mark; this ensures that they are still at their sleepiest and tiniest, allowing me to capture them at this perfect yet fleeting stage. Most families book their sessions prior to delivery to ensure a spot on my calendar, but last minute spots can often be arranged.
As an alternative (or, in addition to!) studio sessions, I also offer Fresh 48 Sessions--these typically take place within 48 hours after birth, most often in your location of delivery.

Session pricing includes session time; access to my entire collection of props, outfits, and backdrops (you needn't bring a thing besides a baby!). Session includes set number of digital images (number of digital images is decided by session pricing).
Theses session are geared towards capturing your little one as they grow! As they hit these little milestones, new fun aspects of baby growth are present—and fleeting…before you know it, the little things are gone. From finding (and eating!) their feet for the first time, to clapping, and sitting on their own…these little moments come and go so quickly.
The recommended milestones fall at around the 3-4 month stage (yay! head control!), the 6-7 month stage (sitting unassisted!), the 9-10 month stage (playful interaction, but not yet running across the room!) and the 12-month stage, as they cross from baby to full-on toddler. Other milestones to capture fall on 18-months, and yearly birthdays going forward.
I have a fully-stocked wardrobe in my studio that is available to all clients. Outfits are available for little ones up to 2T and beyond.

There’s nothing more magical than capturing those little moments of love when your little ones light up in your arms, and no better sound than their squeals of delight when you toss them in the air. My family sessions are fun and playful, and I don’t stress for a second if your children take off running through a field…I’ll run with them.
