On a beautiful Sunday morning, I packed up my SUV and headed south of Raleigh to Fuquay Varina to meet Hunter and his amazing parents for a newborn session.
Let me let y’all in on a little secret: Hunter didn’t want to have his picture taken.
This happens, though. It comes with the territory of being a newborn. Actually, it comes with the territory of being a human no? Don’t we all have our off days? Certainly, babies are no different–especially when they are brand-new. Even a slight change in their schedule can throw them off.
Although little Mr. Hunter wasn’t exactly having it, we were still able to get in a few shots of him. We gave it the good old college try (while mom did her best to get him in a deep sleep and Dad and I had great conversations about cameras and Vegas and hunting!). And, in the end, we snagged a few family shots (which is when Hunter decided he’d enjoy a nice snooze), and called it a day.
Have a look at this amazing family (and would you check out the insanely adorable quote above Hunter’s crib?! Love it!)
