I can’t make babies sleep (see my last blog!). And I can’t control the weather.

But, I take pictures anyways.

For nearly a week, we have had beautiful weather, and even more beautiful sunsets. It’s finally felt like spring is here to stay (seriously…enough with this winter already). We’ve had this shoot on the books for months now…and when the day finally gets here? Gloomy. And kind of cold.

Way to disappoint, North Carolina.

I’ll be honest, I love a good sunset. But cloudy days are just as nice! As long as there’s no rain, we’re good to go!

This was such a fun maternity session! Caroline and Kyle are expecting twins in May–a boy and a girl. I’ve already given them a heads up: if the babies don’t like their nursery, I’m moving in. It was so beautiful! There wasn’t a single thing missing; they are prepared for it all. The cribs were beautiful made, the blocks on the shelves, the artwork on the walls….the tiny shoes on the dresser. It made me want to have a do-over for my son’s randomly put together nursery!

Can’t wait to meet Harper and Conner!
